Why did Triton Digital partner with NOVA Entertainment?

Triton Digital, the world's leading technology and services provider in digital audio, podcasting and broadcasting, announced on Wednesday said IIt has partnered with NOVA Entertainment, Australia's leading independent audio entertainment company, to implement Triton's Sounder solution across NOVA's audio portfolio, representing a significant advancement in publisher-led audio advertising in Australia.

The partnership will introduce Sounder's advanced contextual targeting, brand suitability and cutting-edge podcast advertising tools, giving NOVA Entertainment unprecedented control over its audio advertising ecosystem through an end-to-end solution, the company said.

Richard Palmer, Vice President of Market Development and Strategy for APAC at Triton Digital, said: “Our partnership with NOVA Entertainment exemplifies our commitment to providing publisher-led end-to-end solutions that drive innovation in the audio industry. By combining Triton’s technology with NOVA’s market leadership, we are creating an ecosystem where publishers have full control over their advertising chain, from contextual targeting to brand safety and beyond.”

Commenting on the partnership, Tim Armstrong, Director of Digital Capability and Data at NOVA Entertainment, said: “Integrating the Sounder solution into our offering is further evidence of how we build best-in-class commercial products for our clients. This technology not only enables us to deliver unparalleled audience targeting and brand safety to our advertisers, but also enhances our ability to effectively promote and monetise our diverse audio content. It is a game-changing shift that puts the power back in the hands of creators and publishers.”

Triton Digital will further cement its presence in the Australian market through the partnership and publish a monthly Australian Podcast Ranker, providing unparalleled insight into the digital audio landscape and helping Publisher and advertisers make informed decisions, the report says.

Triton Digital acquired Sounder in March 2024 to bring Sounder's brand suitability solutions and AI-powered podcast understanding into Triton Digital's existing audio streaming and podcasting technology. The acquisition has enabled a more seamless, data-driven advertising experience for brands, agencies, publishers and podcasters like NOVA Entertainment, the company said.
