Allison Holker, the widow of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, hints at a new romance 20 months after his tragic suicide

Allison Holker, the widow of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, hinted this week that she may have started a new romance 20 months after his tragic suicide.

Boss, best known as a DJ on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, was found dead in a Los Angeles motel in 2022 at the age of 40: he had inflicted a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

For Holker, 36, her world collapsed as she tried to solve her problems and raise her children alone.

This January, she admitted that it had taken her a “long time” to learn to “love myself again,” but that she was now not “afraid” of the prospect of a new relationship.

And this week, she posted a cryptic photo of her shadow next to that of a mysterious man on Instagram, with the two apparently holding hands.

To reinforce the assumption that she was posting about a new boyfriend, she simply captioned the post with a heart emoji.

Holker did not want to reveal the name of the man standing next to her or any further details about the possible new romance in her life.

She and Boss began dating in 2010 and married in 2013, a year before he got his job as a popular DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

He adopted Holker's daughter Weslie, now 16, from a previous relationship, and the couple also had two children of their own – Maddox, eight, and Zaia, four.

In December 2022, he checked into the Oak Tree Inn in the Los Angeles suburb of Encino – a 15-minute walk from his home – and shot himself.

His body was discovered the morning after he arrived at the motel by a horrified maid who found him lying in a pool of blood in the bathtub.

Boss's shocking suicide sparked outpourings of grief from fans around the world and Holker was showered with condolences.

Just weeks before his death, Boss and Holker appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show and said they hoped to have another baby.

Last December, Holker uploaded a touching Instagram post about her grief as she approached two milestones — her and Boss' tenth wedding anniversary, and three days later, the first anniversary of his death.

“The grief never ends…but every season of challenge has an expiration date. Keep believing and keep dancing,” she wrote.

The following month, she revealed on an episode of Nick Viall's podcast “The Viall Files” that she was open to the possibility of dating someone again.

“It was very difficult for me to learn to like and love myself again… I found myself in a very complex situation,” she said.

“It took me a long time to accept all these things and the complexity of everything. But at the end of the day, I love life.”

When the topic of a new man came up, she said, “Would I shy away from that? No. Am I looking for that? I don't know… but I definitely don't shy away from it.”
