Man wanted for assault on teenager in Visalia

VISALIA – Visalia police are currently searching for a man who reportedly sexually assaulted a young teenager on her way home.

On the morning of August 28, just after 8:45 a.m., a 13-year-old girl was walking home when a man began to follow her. The suspect made contact with the teen and sexually assaulted her. After she was able to fight him off, he fled the scene. This incident occurred south of Giddings Street and Wren Avenue.

A photograph of the suspect has been obtained and VPD detectives are requesting your assistance in identifying this man.
