Two-vehicle accident paralyzes traffic on Route 113 at Diamond Road in Sellersville

Emergency crews are currently investigating a two-vehicle crash that involved a vehicle crashing into a building on Wednesday evening. The crash occurred at Diamond Street and Route 113 in Sellersville.

Traffic in the area is being diverted via Route 113. Diamond Street is closed in both directions.

Visible at the scene were a silver four-door Volkswagen with heavy front-end damage and a second vehicle, a silver four-door Toyota with heavy driver's side damage. The Toyota appeared to have driven into the back of a red barn-style shed located in a residential yard. Debris was scattered on the road.

Pennsylvania State Police are on scene and traffic is currently closed in all directions of the intersection. So far, two people have been transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals.

Currently responding units include Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department, Silverdale Volunteer Fire Department, Perkasie Fire Department No. 1, Hilltown Volunteer Fire Department, Hilltown Township Police Department, Chal-Brit Regional EMS and Sellersville Fire Department Medic 159.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Updates will be posted as new information becomes available.
