LPD announces identity of Saturday's stabbing victim in Lawton

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Lawton Police have released the name of the victim killed in a stabbing on Saturday, August 24.

According to LPD, James Major Douglas III died after being taken to the hospital for injuries sustained in the stabbing.

Police responded to the call around 1 a.m. Saturday. The incident occurred at the corner of 23rd Street and Williams Avenue.

The LPD is investigating the incident as a homicide and has stated that all those involved have been identified.
