Beale, 43, is currently unemployed after resigning as Sunderland manager in February.

After being Steven Gerrard's right-hand man at Rangers, he returned to the Gers as manager in November 2022 before being sacked less than a year later.

In December 2023, Beale got the job at Sunderland, but only stayed there for two months.

Not much had been heard from him until he broke his silence in a podcast interview earlier this month.

Now he has reported on social media about a recent health scare.

On Instagram, Beale told his 97,000 followers that he had undergone a “minor procedure.”

The former Gers head coach revealed he had to see a specialist after a cut appeared on his forehead that would not heal.

And as he announced the news, Beale also had a warning for people.

Beale said: “This morning I had a minor procedure on my forehead.

“A few weeks ago a cut appeared that has not healed.

“I reluctantly went to the specialist (at my wife's insistence) and was advised to have the tooth removed and examined.

“I'm not a sun worshipper, but it shows that you have to be careful and pay attention to changes in your skin.”

Beale's first signing at Rangers was Todd Cantwell and it looks like the midfielder will end his career at Ibrox.

English Championship club Blackburn Rovers have reportedly agreed a transfer fee with the Gers.

At the beginning of the summer, Rangers boss Philippe Clement dropped the bombshell news that Cantwell had asked to leave the club.

Since then, the 26-year-old has not trained with the first team or played for the club.

In terms of new signings, Hoffenheim defender Stanley Nsoki is the latest player to be linked with a move to Rangers ahead of Friday night's deadline.
