Jimmy Fallon's daughters, Winnie11 and Frances10, recently reached a new milestone when they attended their first summer camp, and the Tonight Show The host says it was “traumatic” for him and his wife.

“I don't know why they asked us to leave,” Jimmy tells E! News. “I'm like, 'Why do you want to go somewhere else? You have such a great life here with your mom and dad.' They're like, 'We're ready to go.' And they had the best time.”

However, 49-year-old Fallon says he and his wife Nancy Juvonendidn't cope with the situation so well.

“It was so sad for me and my wife,” he said. “You couldn't talk to them. Between 10:30 and 10:45 there was a conference call. It was like they were in prison.”

“It's like, 'I'm coming to get you out of here, honey. You didn't do anything wrong. I'm coming to get you,'” Fallon joked. “It was a very traumatic summer for us. They grow up and all this just kind of happens.”
