WATCH: HBCU Football is Back | Hype Video 2024

After a long offseason, HBCU football is finally back and we have released our 2024 hype video to get our fans ready for kickoff in Week 1.

Week 0 featured a MEAC/SWAC Challenge duel between Florida A&M (FAMU) University and Norfolk State University, kicking off the 2024 HBCU football season with an exciting opener.

FAMU has shown that despite losing several players and coaches from its 2023 HBCU National Championship team, it is still one of the teams to beat.

The defending Celebration Bowl champions topped the HBCU Gameday Preseason FCS Poll. Behind them at No. 2 is North Carolina Central, and behind them at No. 3 is Howard University, a team that beat NCCU by 30 points to become the 2023 MEAC champion. The defending MEAC champions Howard Bison have a great homecoming matchup with No. 4 ranked Tennessee State University in October, and at No. 5, the Jackson State Tigers are a surprise team for 2024 that are ready to climb back to the top of the SWAC mountain.
