Vehicle rolls into Schuylkill River while man and woman ‘engage in sexual acts’: Police

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia police responded to an unusual – and rather unpleasant – incident along the Schuylkill River early Wednesday morning.

A vehicle parked on Kelly Drive entered the river near the Columbia Bridge at around 4:45 a.m.

According to police, a man and a woman were engaging in sexual acts in the back seat when the woman accidentally put the car in gear.

The vehicle then rolled directly into the water.

Fortunately, both the man and the woman were able to escape unharmed.

The incident occurred just weeks after another car drove off Kelly Drive into the Schuylkill River without anyone being found inside the car.
