There is a runaway water buffalo in Iowa

An angry and injured water buffalo is currently terrorizing the town of Pleasant Hill in the state of Iowa – and has been doing so since Saturday.

It managed to escape, but then tried to attack a group of police officers who tried to help it, and one of the officers fired a shotgun.

They are really mean bastards.

Pat Angerer is the new color guy for Iowa Football

Pat Angerer's first game in the locker room with Gary Dolphin as co-commentator for the Hawkeyes.

We love Pat, and he's a long-time friend of the show – from the “Hawkeye Update” with his quick predictions to the Celebrity Pinewood Derby, he always rises to the challenges we throw at him – he even took on Dwyer in a recreation of the final scene of Dodgeball.

City rally for the ice cream stand for children

One town supported a boy who ran a homemade ice cream stand to raise money for his brother's hockey team after the stand closed.

The city raised $20,000 from various businesses in the area and the hockey team is now in a good financial position.
