Man found dead in Midtown Atlanta, police investigating

ATLANTA – Police are at the scene of a death in Midtown Atlanta.

While officials did not release details about the investigation, the call about the shooting came around 5 a.m.

An officer on the scene confirmed that a dead man was found in the area.

FOX 5 cameras spotted crime scene tape around 10th Street near Howell Mill Road, just blocks from the Georgia Tech campus.

Detectives have closed the street for the duration of their investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
