Man in hospital after stabbing in Syracuse, investigation still ongoing

SYRACUSE, NY — A 38-year-old man was hospitalized after a stabbing in Syracuse on Tuesday, August 27.

Syracuse police said they arrived on Herriman Street around 4:43 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found the victim with a stab wound to the chest.

The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
