Police: Man and woman found dead in apartment in Hialeah, child unharmed

MIAMI – Hialeah police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide Tuesday night after the bodies of a man and woman and an unharmed child were found in an apartment.

According to police, it appeared to be a domestic dispute that escalated in an apartment building in the 600 block of West 68th Street.

When officers arrived, they found the bodies, whose identities were not immediately known, as well as a three-year-old boy.

Police said the deceased's sister was unable to reach them even after several days and called the police to inquire about her well-being.

The child was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Police declined to say whether police had been called to this address in the past.

Authorities said the man and woman were the boy's biological parents.

The investigators are continuing their investigation.
