Motorcyclist dead after accident in Chesterfield County

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Virginia – Police say one person was killed in a motorcycle crash Tuesday evening in Chesterfield County.

The accident occurred at 8:45 p.m. in the 800 block of North Courthouse Road. The victim, who was riding a motorcycle at the time of the accident, was found dead in the middle of the roadway by police.

According to police, the motorcyclist collided with another car, whose driver remained at the scene of the accident and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
