Tragic No. 1: New Netflix series goes viral because of bizarre scene [Watch]

A newly released Netflix series is devastating the platform's subscribers. The consensus is that the show starts on a tragic and heartbreaking note and spirals out of control from there. The program in question is called The accidentThe title of the series in her home country Mexico is Accident. And this melodrama about a parent's worst nightmare is going viral on the internet for all the wrong and, excuse me, hilarious reasons.

But I will tell you that you probably won't look at inflatables the same way again after watching this Spanish-language series. Seriously, the titular event refers to an unspeakable tragedy involving an inflatable playground for children. And the consequences aren't terrible… uplifting.

Although The accident is drawing in viewers like crazy, but critics aren't completely blown away by what's happening. The majority of film scholars don't seem to be thrilled with what's happening so far. The show currently has just 33% “fresh” ratings on review website Rotten Tomatoes. However, only 6 critics have weighed in so far. So the consensus might simply contain a disproportionate number of negative reviews when only a handful of critics have weighed in. Time will tell.

Klych López and Gracia Querejeta direct the series. The program was written by Leonardo Padrón. Ana Claudia Talancón, Sebastián Martínez, Alberto Guerra, Eréndira Ibarra and Erick Elias play the main roles.

The action begins with a tragic accident that radically changes the lives of several families and triggers a spiral of guilt, resentment and violence that leads them to explore the outer limits of pain, resistance and compassion.
