Motorcyclist dies in accident in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) – A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a car on Courthouse Road.

On Tuesday, August 27, shortly after 8:45 p.m., Chesterfield County Police were called to a two-vehicle crash in the 800 block of North Courthouse Road.

When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist in the middle of the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver remained on site and cooperated with the police.

They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.

The identity of the motorcyclist will remain secret until next of kin are notified.

The police are continuing to investigate this incident.
