Dallas police continue to search for driver suspected of hitting skateboarder – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Dallas police continue to search for a suspect who hit and seriously injured a skateboarder.

On Sunday, August 11, police responded to the 10200 block of Audelia Road, just south of Royal Lane.

A young man was skateboarding and was hit by a car. According to police, the victim was seriously injured.

The suspect driver did not stop to assist the victim, but continued north on Audelia Road, passed Royal Lane, then made a U-turn and headed east on Royal Lane toward the LBJ Freeway/635. The suspect driver drove to a gas station, made another U-turn, and was last seen heading west on Royal Lane toward Audelia Road.

Dallas police released surveillance photos from a gas station showing images of the vehicle allegedly involved in the hit-and-run accident.

The suspect vehicle is a black Dodge Ram 1500. It has damage to the right front axle, including a missing right headlight and assembly, damage to the right front fender, and damage to the grille.
