Raytown police search crime scene after finding woman shot to death

RAYTOWN, Missouri (KCTV) – Police have one woman injured but no further information about a shooting in Raytown Tuesday afternoon.

At around 3:15 p.m., officers responded to an emergency call and found a woman with a gunshot wound.

Police said they found the woman at the corner of 87th Street and Raytown Road, but were unsure where the shooting occurred.

Rescue workers took the woman to a hospital for treatment.

Officers are now looking for anyone who may have information about the location of the shooting or the people involved in the crime.
