Man suspected of having child pornography arrested in downtown Madison

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A 39-year-old man accused of possession of child pornography was arrested early Tuesday morning by the Madison Police Department's Special Victims Unit (SVU), officials report.

According to MPD, the SVU was one of several agencies that executed a search warrant on a home in the 2400 block of Hoard Street in Madison.

The suspect is part of an ongoing Internet Crime Against Children (ICAC) investigation.

He was taken to the Dane County Jail and charged with possession of child pornography.
