Buffalo Bills cuts tracker: Latest reports, rumors, news on the 53-man roster (live tracker)

The Buffalo Bills have until today, Tuesday, August 27, 4:00 p.m. to reduce their roster to 53 players.

KJ Hamler waives

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported that the Bills have waived KJ Hamler. It's possible that the Bills will have only five receivers on their initial roster.

Tylan Grable is expected to be included in the 53-man roster

Grable, a Day 3 draft pick in 2024, is expected to make the 53-man roster, according to Alaina Getzenberg. Grable performed well throughout training camp and the preseason.

Gable Steveson waives

This move is no surprise. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported that the defensive tackle was released. Buffalo signed Steveson despite his lack of a football background. It is unknown if he will join Buffalo's practice squad.

Kendall Williamson waives

Joe Buscaglia reports that the Bills are releasing S. Kendall Williamson.

Andy Isabella released

Veteran wide receiver Andy Isabella was released, according to a source.

Ja'Marcus Ingram is expected to be included in the 53-man roster

According to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, Ja'Marcus Ingram is expected to be added to the 53-man roster. The move was expected due to Ingram's strong summer.

Branson Deen waives

According to a source, the Bills released DT Branson Deen. Deen joined the roster this spring as a UDFA.

Eli Ankou released

Sal Capaccio of WGR-550 reports that Ankou will be released by the team, adding that the defensive tackle is being considered for the practice squad.

The Bills are waiving Justin Shorter, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Buffalo drafted Shorter in the 5th round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

OL Mike Edwards waives

Bills UDFA OL Mike Edwards has been released by the Bills, per source. The source adds that Buffalo would like to sign Edwards to its practice squad if he makes it past the release list.

Xavier Johnson waives

The former Ohio State WR was released by the Bills, according to the source. Johnson joined the team this summer as a UDFA.

Kareem Jackson released

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Bills are releasing veteran safety Kareem Jackson.

Tyrell Shavers waives

According to a source, the Bills are waiving WR Tyrell Shavers. Shavers had a stellar summer for the Bills and seemed to be in the running for a spot on the 53-man roster. Buffalo will place Shavers on the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Ben DiNucci released

The Bills have released Ben DiNucci, according to Adam Schefter. DiNucci could potentially be signed to the practice squad.

Bills take first steps on Sunday

Led by linebacker Deion Jones, Buffalo released seven players from the bench and added two safeties to injured reserve on Sunday.
