Memphis man found guilty of sexual abuse of minors

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Memphis man has been found guilty of sexually abusing a minor, according to the Shelby County District Attorney's Office.

On August 22, a four-day trial against Joseph Davis took place.

At least four people testified against Davis at the trial, including a caseworker and a forensic interviewer. Davis denied all of the allegations, according to the Shelby County District Attorney's Office.

On the final day of the trial, the jury found Davis guilty on six counts, including rape of a child, aggravated sexual abuse of a minor and three counts of aggravated sexual assault.
